DIY or Call Us?

You can safely clean the area, photograph the crack, and measure the bolt spread so you know what you’re looking at.

What you should not do is run a bead on a load-bearing gate hinge with a 110-volt flux-core welder unless you also fabricate a reinforcement plate and weld hot enough to matter.
